Abigail Dolby was born in Springfield Oregon and attended The University of Oregon, receiving a B.A. in Arts and Technology in 2019 with a Minor in Art History. Her education gave her valuable experience with various digital mediums including graphic design, video art, creative photography, and performance art documentation.
Abigail's early digital work and other miscellaneous technological creations focused primarily on the process and the medium itself. Along with digital art, Abigail continues to expand upon her studio work.
Traditional mediums and illustrations have always been a prevalent part of Abigail's life. At five years old, she had taken a great interest in drawing and decided to become an artist. Her self-taught skills improved throughout her childhood as she started to explore other mediums. By freshman year of college, she had a strong passion for acrylic painting. Through her education and collaboration with other artists, she developed her unique style and voice.
Abigail's current artwork uses color and curious imagery to create compelling compositions. Her fascination with hands and gestures pay homage to Renaissance art and can be seen in the majority of her work.
